Wasting the Reward for Fasting

Many people fast during the day but due to anger, they waste the reward. To perform mustahab actions is not wājib but to stay away from anger is wājib. Perform the wājibāt and then focus on the mustahabbat.

Giving water to person who fasted

Whoever gave a person who fasted water to drink, Allah shall grant the giver to drink from my fountain, such a drink where after that person shall never again feel thirsty until he enters Jannah.

Ramadan

Ramadan was the chosen month of divine revelation, and it remains a unique time of devotional communication through prayer and supplication.

Fasting curbs the cravings of the lower self, for when the body is hungry the nafs is full but when the body is full the nafs is hungry.

Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq

When Ramadan comes

When Ramadan comes the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of the hell fire closed, and the devils are chained up

Ramadan without anger

The month of Ramaḍān is dawning upon us. Make Du'ā from now that Allah makes our Ramaḍān go well. Ramaḍān is not about praying 15 ajzā’ every day. If we achieve the 30 fasts of Ramaḍān without getting angry, inshāAllah, it is hoped that we will become a wali of Allah ﷻ.
