4 characteristics part of evil

Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه narrates: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

Four characteristics are part of evil;

(1)An eye that cannot cry,

(2)hardness of the heart,

(3)Having many aspirations and desires

(4)And greed/desire for the world.

Best of Virtues

Sayyiduna Mu’adh ibn Anas narrates from his father: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said,

“The best of virtues is that you maintain relations with one who cuts you off, that you give the one who deprives you, and that you forgive the one who insults you.”

(Musnad Aḥmad 15191)
